Electrical Insulating Mat Specification as per IS 15652: HIC Universal
Manufacturers of IS 15652: 2006 Electrical Insulating Safety Rubber Mat conforming specification produced by HIC Universal in small anti-skid aberration marks (rough surface without edges) and plain lower surface design pattern electrical mat manufactured in India located Delhi and Uttar Pradesh factories in three different varieties of Thickness and Dielectric Test Voltage when new, designated as Class:-
Class A signifies (2mm / 30kV); Class B (2.5mm / 45kV);
Class C (3mm / 65kV) respectively.
High quality electrical resistant Elastomer, free from any insertions (that includes rubbers, latex and Elastomeric compound that may be natural or synthetic or a mixture or a combination of both) is used by HIC Universal in manufacturing electrical insulating high voltage mat product, fully tested as per BIS 15652 standards that covers full testing over the entire mat surface in well-equipped HIC’s Testing Laboratory and stamped on the reverse with identification coding, having salient quality characteristics:
- High Electrical Insulation Resistance 10,00,000 Mega Ohms when measured with 500 v Megger
- Fire Retardant < 5 seconds blue flame extinguished when tested after removal
- Leakage Current to 10 MA at 65 kV tested 100% Shockproof high voltage resistant mat
Standard Sizes of Switchboard Matting manufactured (Width x Length): 900mm (3ft) x 1.8meter (6ft), 1000mm (1meter) x 2m, 1m x 5m, 1m x 10m, 1m x 20m, 1.2m x 2m, 1.2m x 5m, 1.2m x 10m and other sizes on request.
For special outdoor application use, high voltage insulation mats can also be supplied with higher thickness subject to single maximum roll length of 5m / 10 meters.
